Type Design

Omono is a mono-spaced typeface that can be observed, disciphered or heard. It is an alternative graphic representation of morse code.

Omono takes its name from a Morse code mnemonic, in this case a reminder of the letter ‘O’. Limited punctuation is included and like morse code there is no distinction between upper and lower case letters. The rules used to read standard international morse code largely apply, exceptions include spacing.
