Theodora Beck is a designer applying research, critique and speculation to understand and question existing cultural, societal and political networks. Currently she is focussing on the notion of agency, specifically the ontology of objects and the complex systems from which they emerge and exist in. Whilst situated in theories of design, philosophy and culture, she endeavours to situate her work in the context of ‘real-world problems’. With a practice established in Graphic and Communication Design (B.A.) her approach is both analytical and system-oriented. She is currently completing her M.A. in Design at the University of London Goldsmith’s.
